About Us

My name is Sharon Patton the owner of Reli-a-Seat Non Emergency Medical Transport LLC.  As  young child through middle school I was introduced to people with special needs, having a friend who’s grandmother (Mrs. Otty) cared for for them in her home. 

I saw her care for them with love and patience,  didn’t treat them any different. 

I did realize what I learned from seeing her care for them until I started caring for them by giving them rides to and from school.   

As a single mother I attempted to make a living for myself.  My daughter was introduced to her mother driving a special needs bus in January 2003, where I became a certified school driver through CHP.

I learned not only to operate the vehicle I also learned how to secure Wheelchairs and to be compassionate and loving to all. 

In 2012 I upgraded my License to learn a larger Public transit vehicle where I then had the desire to learn different aspects of the business, dispatching, and supervising during this time. 

My compassion for the disabled and the elderly, where I saw a need and my coworkers saw them as a problem. 

My God sister told me about this service that she use after a accident she had,  I had no clue about (NEMT), after researching and thinking about all of my years of experience, wanting to own my own business, I did a hard nose dive into Learning How to Start My own Business Now here I am The Owner of The Reli-a-Seat Non Emergency Medical Transport LLC a NEMT service. Where we pride ourselves on Safety, Reliability, Compassion, and great overall Customer Service.
